Pick up from hotel and transfer to Chalong. Travel by four wheel drive Land Rover in to Chalong high lands. Arrive at Siam Safari elephant camp on top of the mountain. Meet the elephants and learn about them and the Mahouts that take care of them. Learn about Thai elephant conservation and how you can help. See how young elephants are trained, you can also help feed the elephants. Trek on elephant back and appreciate the stunning ocean views.
See how Thai Jungle curry is made and try some if you dare. Watch a demonstation of rubber tree tapping to see how natural rubber latex is produced. Watch how monkeys are trained to pick coconuts. Learn about Thai buffaloes, try a ride on a wooden cart pulled by a buffalo. Watch how coconuts are processed to make coconut oil and milk. Cruise on a traditional wooden Chinese style Junk in Chalong bay where you can see good views of Phuket and the surrounding islands. The tour ends with a delicious buffet lunch or dinner prepared with fresh ingredients, a selection of Thai dishes cooked not too spicy. Return transfer to your hotel after an active, educational and rewarding adventure.
